The caregivers and support staff at Vista Del Lago are some of the most compassionate, competent, and kind people our family has ever met. They take their job very seriously and treat every resident with dignity. We are so thankful for the quality care they have been giving our mom and aunt. If you are looking for a place where your loved one will be well taken care of and treated like family, this is the place.

My name is Nerio Gomez and my mother's name was Georgina Dessavre she had been at Vista Del Lago for over a year and yesterday she passed from Alzheimer's. I want to thank very much from the bottom of my heart all the staff and all the directors of Vista Del Lago very much for taking care of my mom you guys and Vista De Largo will always be in my heart and will always be part of my life again thank all of you for the care that you provide.

What a GREAT staff! I placed my aunt at Vista Del Lago a year and a half ago, and now I have another aunt there as well. The staff is flush with top notch caretakers in what is clearly a challenging environment. Marie, Rosa, Loucinda, Jennifer, Amanda, Summer, Erick, William, Raven, Antonio, and so many others (I'm sorry to not remember everyone's names right now... and yes I mean you), I am truly grateful for how well you care for my aunts, Irene and Karol, as part of your family too. Beyond that, the large outdoor patio space is park-like toward the back, and perfect for our weekly get-togethers, EVERY time we are there, more than one of the staff will help us, or stop by to say hello. It is a credit to the team to all be so personable and professional in, again, a challenging environment. Thank you!

As someone who has worked at Vista Del Lago for nearly four years, I can confidently say I have seen the building go through many stages. Since Loucinda has been MCD the building has improved tremendously. My experience at Vista del Lago has truly been beautiful and inspiring. I first started off as a caregiver but almost immediately was promoted to Med-tech. Being med tech and lead has made me realize my dream is to become a nurse because I love helping others. I applaud Loucinda and Marie because I know that being on the floor is already so difficulty and I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes. Not only do they both work hard to ensure staff and residents are taken care of but they continually help on the floor when needed. I appreciate Loucinda for allowing me to grow as much as I have and continue to do so. I have learned so many lessons and skills I will carry for years to come in next opportunities. Although some days are very difficult, most days are very rewarding. Working in a setting like this it's almost as if you have 50 grandmas and 50 grandpas and that is truly incredible but challenging at the same time. You can tell all staff in the building truly care for the residents with there whole heart. Working with dementia definitely comes with its difficulties mentally and physically but our directors ensure staff are always cared for. Whether that's leaving their offices open with open ears and arms or buying staff coffee, boba or meals.

As an employee at Vista del Lago for over six years, I would first like to express how grateful I am for the support I have received from our RSD, Loucinda. She has consistently encouraged me to elevate my performance, challenged me to grow professionally, and inspired me to always deliver my best work. Her support extends beyond me to every staff member. Her door is always open, and she is always willing to provide guidance, encouragement, and assistance whenever needed. I have known Loucinda since she worked as a caregiver on the night shift. Through hard work, dedication, and perseverance, she advanced to Med Tech and eventually became our RSD. Throughout her journey, she remained committed to the community and continued giving her all, even during challenging times. Since her promotion, positive changes have steadily taken place throughout our community. I am truly thankful to have such a compassionate and dedicated leader supporting our team. I would also like to thank our Executive Director, Marie Hill. She consistently greets everyone with a friendly face and fosters a warm, welcoming environment. She has challenged every department to strive for excellence and has provided the support needed to help us succeed. Knowing that we have the backing of such an amazing leadership team motivates staff to provide the highest quality care for our residents. I can confidently say that families have noticed these positive changes and genuinely appreciate them.
