Our assisted living services include meals, housekeeping and laundry services to help lift the burden of living in a private residence on your own. Memory Care

Compassionate Alzheimer's and Dementia Care in a Supportive Setting

Alzheimer's and other types of dementia can be overwhelming and scary for both patients and their families. Families often have important questions and concerns when caring for a loved one impacted by Alzheimer's disease or dementia: How will the disease progress? What changes can I expect to see in my loved one? How do I know when I need to seek help in my loved one’s care? How do we transition him or her from home to a skilled care setting? How will he or she is supported emotionally? How will I know my loved one is safe and secure?

We can address these concerns and many more. Saber’s highly trained and experienced memory care professionals have the expertise, patience and compassion to understand the complex needs of dementia patients and their loved ones. We know these conditions affect the whole family and work closely with all involved to address the needs and concerns of all parties.

Saber creates memory care environments and services specifically designed to meet the many challenges and needs of those suffering from Alzheimer's, dementia, and other memory-related diseases. Key to our care plan is providing meaningful activities for our patients. Every event, every interaction and every procedure is an opportunity to provide an enriching, connective activity. It might be an outing, a backrub, a dance or a meal. Whatever it is, the principles involved always include being flexible and focusing on the person's individual capabilities and level of functional ability.

Our expert memory support staff is trained to deliver these Alzheimer's and dementia care services in a professional, compassionate manner. Saber’s professional memory care nurses, physicians, therapists and other team members address each patient’s needs with medical expertise and warm, supportive care.

Finally, we offer open living spaces and secured outdoor areas that make it safe and inviting for residents in our memory care facility. Our goal is to make our space feel like home and provide a relaxing, familiar and comfortable environment.

Our experience has been incredible from beginning to today. Jill and her staff are very inviting, friendly and informative. The facility is beautifully designed and maintained. Even the rooms that are semi-private seem private, with a shared entryway and full bath in each shared suite. The food is delicious with generous portions. The courtyard is amazing. We have zero complaints. We feel very fortunate to have found Sage Bluff!

Do not bring someone you love here. My dad has been here for less than 24 hours, and there are already too many issues to list! The nurse, Tina, just yelled at me because my brother and me helped our dad get out of bed and into a chair. He did NOT want to be in the bed all day!! I am afraid for his health and care at this facility.
